Areas of Practice

Criminal defense

We provide criminal defense services in both federal and state matters. What's more important is that we have a true understanding of what is at stake for people faced with a criminal charge. A criminal charge can be emotionally overwhelming and mentally debilitating.

If, however, you have an advocate that understands what you are going through, you can make your way through it without losing yourself. There are plenty of attorneys out there but where we are different is what makes us more effective. The ability to connect with our clients leads to a more passionate and zealous representation.

The small business marketplace is still a new and fierce frontier that requires legal advice from attorneys who are skilled in contract analysis and proviso construction. Our firm gives you a holistic approach, where we act as a partner with regard to your best interest. We believe that our role involves protecting your business, whenever possible, from clear and insidious risks of liability.

Civil Litigation

The way people consume entertainment is constantly in flux, so the laws must adapt quickly. Harris Ingram strives to anticipate these changes so you can focus more on creating the performance of a lifetime.

FAmily law

Our office makes every attempt to provide common sense and reasonable advice to parties undergoing divorce or custody battles.   We pride ourselves on giving you honest opinions, not on prolonging or escalating what may be an already painful or expensive process.

Our office provides custody dispute resolution to parties, we strive to achieve fairness for parents while keeping the children at the front and center of the matter.

We provide divorce and custody dispute services in Chippewa, Eau Claire, Barron, Pepin, Rusk,  Washburn and Dunn counties, Please contact us if you reside outside of our current services area, we may still be able to help.

Landlord/TEnant Law

We provide landlord and tenant representation services for civil claims based on the landlord/tenant relationship and unlawful detainer actions. We approach every case with a creative and thorough eye.

Because we have experience finding unique defenses and unconventional ways to defend against evictions, we are able to leverage that knowledge to employ preemptive strategies to avoid a long drawn out eviction process. Not every case is easy but if there is a problem we will do our very best to find an effective solution to it.

Elder law/Probate LAW

Elder law refers to the process of later in life legal planning, including issues arising from retirement, housing, loss of mental capacity, guardianship, long-term care planning, Medicaid eligibility, assisted living, nursing homes, and end-of-life decision making. While Probate Law involves the management, execution, and litigation regarding a testator's wishes after they  have passed, a thoughtful approach from an caring attorney can help maintain order and peace among family members.

In law a man is guilty when he violates the rights of others. In ethics he is guilty if he only thinks of doing so.
